This Week

We are starting our third week of spring classes. Staff, instructors, and members are all back into the OLLI routine. We are noticing a few more friendly faces on campus. Thanks to all who are stopping by to say hello!

Some mid-session reminders:

You will no longer be able to register for first session courses, but it is not too late to add second session courses, which start March 13th.

Please no eating or drinking in the classrooms.

Do you love theater, opera, music, or ballet? Then don't forget about PittArts Cheap Seats. You will need your Osher ID to use this benefit. If you have questions about whether or not your ID is current, please email Pat Szczepanski at pjs27@pitt.edu.

Updates to Spring Catalog: 
New Changes

Atmosphere and Weather, Stephen Lindberg. (Spring Session One, Tuesdays 6-7:30pm). This course will not meet on February 14. The last day of this course will now be March 7.

Contemporary Economic Policy Issues, Jon Haveman. This course moved to Spring Session Two (Wednesdays 1-2:30pm)

Ahab Beckons!:"Moby-Dick, or The Whale," Abbey Mendelson. (Spring Session Two) This course will start a week later on March 21 and will end on April 18.

Important Upcoming Dates

Thursday, February 16, Meet the Director (in-person coffee hour) 8:30-10 a.m. 

Tuesday, February 21 - The OLLI Office will be closed from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. We will not be available in person, by phone, or by email.

Also on Tuesday, February 21- Pitt's Day of Giving

Wednesday, February 22 and Wednesday, March 8 - The OLLI Office will be closed for an hour 9-10am. We will not be available in person, by phone, or by email.

Monday, March 6 - Friday, March 10 - University of Pittsburgh spring break. There will be no audit classes this week.

Friday, March 10 - OLLI Office closed.
 

Regular OLLI Office Hours

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Staff is in the Osher Office, 1400 Posvar Hall
Thursdays and Fridays: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Staff works remotely, but we will answer emails and phone calls.
