Did you register online? Read this:

Did you get an email confirmation listing your classes? If not, double check any spam or junk folders to see if it was routed there.

There is another way to check your enrollment.

Log on to our registration portal. In the upper, right-hand corner of the screen, click on the link for My Account.

This will take you to your Account Overview, where you will find an option to click on Class List. Here you will find your current courses.

If you don't see the courses that you had registered for, give OLLI staff a call at 412-624-7308.

Looking for the perfect gift? Give the gift of Learning!

Osher gift certificates are available year round.

Gift certificates are for term and annual memberships at regular pricing for each. They are valid for use within one year of purchase. To purchase a gift certificate, call OLLI at Pitt at 412-624-7308.

Is your giftee already an Osher member? How about some fun Pitt swag like a t-shirt or sweatshirt or an insulated mug? Or even a gift card to Amazon or Barnes and Noble? Although our classes do not require a lot of books, a course may spark an new interest and a free book is always an incentive.

ID Card Renewal

Do not go and get a new ID card from Panther Central until you hear from us. You will be notified by email when your new or renewed Pitt ID is ready. We will not begin processing the IDs for spring for another week or so.

If you have a current card, the expiration date is on the bottom. If it says 1/23, it does not expire until the last day of January. You will have time in January to get a new one.
Remember: The University closes from December 21 to January 3.

If you have questions, email Pat Szczepanski pjs27@pitt.edu.

Auditing University Courses

As an Osher member, you can audit Pitt undergraduate courses. To “audit” a course means that the student does not receive a grade nor credits and generally does not participate in exams or homework. You can enroll in two audit courses per term for no additional fee.

Preapproved Audit Courses

Osher staff compiles a list of courses that have already been approved by Pitt departments and faculty for Osher members to attend. Enroll in these courses through our registration portal.

Please note: The preapproved courses are not guaranteed. You will only be allowed to audit if space is available, and the course instructor may decide to close a course to Osher participation at any time.

Non-Preapproved Courses

You may audit an undergraduate course not listed on the approved list by securing special email permission of the instructor PRIOR to attending the beginning of the course.

Osher will not enroll you in non-preapproved courses unless you follow the proper procedures that can be found on our All About Course Auditing: Expectations and Member Responsibilities page.

Auditing is NOT permitted in: computer science, film production, physical education, studio arts, laboratory courses, creative writing, honors college courses, or performance courses. Auditing also is NOT permitted in law or medical school classes or online hybrid courses.

Auditor Orientation

Are you planning or thinking about auditing a university course in January? If you have never audited, haven't recently audited, or have not taken an auditor orientation, register by emailing Pat Szczepanski at pjs27@pitt.edu.
